Samuel Gerstein
Samuel Gerstein, founder of the firm Gerstein Grayson & Cohen is retired. He established the firm in 1985. Mr. Gerstein, upon graduation from Rutgers University School of Law – Camden, and admission to the Bar in 1973, served as a Captain in the United States Army Military Police Corps.
He has been a practicing attorney in the South Jersey area since 1966. Mr. Gerstein’s particular areas of expertise were in Business and Commercial Law; Lending and Closings; Banking Law, Commercial Real Estate and Buying and Selling of Businesses. He is admitted to practice before the Superior Court of New Jersey, the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, the United States Court of Appeals – 3rd Circuit and the United States Supreme Court.
His activities have included Chancellor, Rutgers Law School Alumni Association, Camden, New Jersey; lecturer in Commercial Law for the Continuing Legal Education Program of the Camden County Bar Association; Commercial Arbitrator, Superior Court of New Jersey and a Member of the Executive Counsel, Eastern District of the Commercial Law League of America.
