Joseph A. Connell, Sr.
Attorney Joseph A. Connell, Sr. provides counsel in all areas of immigration law, including nonimmigrant and immigrant visa petitions for family, employment based visas, religious worker visas, naturalization (citizenship) applications, waivers and removal (deportation) defense, as well as asylum and other forms of humanitarian relief. He also advises employers in matters of immigration related regulatory compliance.
Mr. Connell is admitted to practice law before The United States Supreme Court, New Jersey Supreme Court, The District of Columbia Court of Appeals, United States District Court, Federal District of New Jersey and the United States District Courts, Eastern and Southern Districts of New York. He is a graduate of the City University School of Law. He also has earned a doctoral degree in psychology
Joseph A. Connell, Sr. is a member of the American Bar Association, The American Immigration Lawyers Association, The New Jersey State Bar Association and served as chairman of the Ocean County Bar Association’s Immigration Law Committee. He is also a member of the Burlington County Bar and the Christian Legal Society. As a college professor teaching at the graduate level, Mr. Connell has conducted numerous seminars and training programs addressing various immigration topics.
Mr. Connell is the president of his own law firm and is Of Counsel to the law firm of Gerstein Grayson & Cohen, LLP in Mount Laurel, New Jersey. Although based in New Jersey, Mr. Connell represents clients throughout the United States and foreign countries.
